I think that Rolf is fantastic. I don’t like to comment on these things, but I can’t let the ridiculous comment before stand without replying.

I haven’t heard this podcast yet, but I’m looking at the ‘meet the gimp’ Videocasts right now… he’s German and therefore definitely english is not his mother tongue (same with me, I’m Swiss) … at least he is doing something actively, not just critisizing others work…. and he’s doing a good job I think.

I find that Rolf’s voice accent and voice is amazing, and i listen to every podcast he does even though i don’t even use the GIMP! (yet) I find him the opposite of annoying. . .
I am at a remote library location in Eastern Canada as we speak, simply trying to download the newest MTG. . .
Also let it be known this is probably only the second comment i’ve ever left on any website!

Rolf Rocks! Why did it take 6 positive comments to triumph on negative comment…what a strange world we live in.

Excellent isn’t a strong enough description of the podcasts. I’ve tried to use the Gimp off and on for several years only to be frustrated with my efforts. Rolf makes it clear where it was dark before. Does superb sound too strong as a descriptor? No! Still not strong enough. Thank you for the insight.
