Has everyone forgotten the _real_ slideshows back in the nineties ? Back then, before digital, people used up to a dozen or more projectors - synchronised to a soundtrack - fading slides into each other, overlapping, using rapid succession to mimic film, etc…
The one thing digital can’t do to this day (not for a normal budget at least) is the high-resolution projection we were used from slides.
Whatever happened to these slideshows, are they still being shown in public ?

and by the way, I guess that whatever soundslides can do, iMovie (or similar) can do as well - or better
